Pastors Phil and Marilyn met when they were sixteen at a church function in
Lansing, Michigan.

They married two years later in 1972. They have three sons, two
wonderful daughter’s-in-law, and eight grandchildren.

They have had many serous trials and tribulations, but God has bound
them together and their marriage is a strong and loving one.

Phil and Marilyn co-founded Covenant Life Worship Center along with
five other’s in May 1998.

They enjoy co-pastoring together.

What We Believe:

* That Christ died to redeem us (Titus 2:14; Galatians 3:13).

* That salvation is through grace (Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 3:23-24).

* That repentance and acceptance are vital for salvation (I John 1:9; John 6:37b).

* That the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:19-21).

* That God is triune – Father, Son and Holy Spirit (I John 5:7; John 1:1,2,14).

* That new birth must be experienced to become a child of God (John 3:3; II Corinthians 5:17).

* That man fell through disobedience (Romans 5:12,19)

* In a daily Christian life (I Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 6:11)

* In water baptism through immersion (Romans 6:4; Acts 2:41).

* In the institution of the Lord’s Supper (I Corinthians 11:23-28).

* In the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5,8; 2:4)

* In the Spirit filled life (Romans 6:4; Galatians 5:15,25).

* In the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:6-8; Galatians 5:22,23; John 15:8).

* In divine healing (James 5:14-16; Matthew 8:17).

* In the second coming of Christ (I Thessalonians 4:16,17).

* In the final judgement (Matthew 13:41-43).

* In heaven and hell (I Corinthians 2:9; John 14:2; Revelations 20:10,15).

* In tithes and offerings to support the Lord’s work (Malachi 3:10; II Corinthians 9:7).

* That the church is responsible to evangelize all nations (Mark 15:15; John 4:35-37).
